New food photography art prints

I’ve wanted to make images with pink and white currants for a while. I’ve never seen them in the supermarket and I don’t grow them in my tiny garden either. So about two weeks ago I was thinking about these berries again and went in to town for errands. I made sure to pass by the Saturday market and was so lucky to find one woman who sold white and pink currants from her garden. I also got some gooseberries and red currants. When I finally had these beautiful, pearl, jewel like berries in my possession I started making images. I finally had to stop the image-making when the berries weren’t as fresh any longer. But I ended up with quite many images that are now in my Etsy print shop.

I also got to photograph the prints in a beautiful home. I have a few more images from this home that I will show soon too. But for now these. Please visit my print shop to see more of my new prints.

Food photography for a quick and tasty baking book.

I’m writing this post in Swedish with an English version at the end.

Beige and brown nature photography art prints of sea shells and dried nature.

This time of the year when nature is soon to turn green everything is beige and brown. It is quiet beautiful and I wanted to make a series of images for my photo print shop in those same colors. I started by taking photos outdoors of the reed grass and the sallow tree and dried grass and dried flowers. Then I brought the dried beige and brown nature indoors, into my studio. I also took my collection of sea shells out of my closet and all the dried flowers from last summer. I shot most of the photographs against an old beige piece of newsprint paper for the right feeling. This newsprint paper has been with me for a very long time. I bought when I went to art school in Washington D.C. in the nineties for my drawing classes. So it has an old vintage touch to it and is probably not the same color as it it was when i bought it. But very good as a simple background for these photographs. To see all images go to my shop here. They are all digital and downloadable, but if someone would prefer an actual print shipped to them just tell me and I will do it.

And remember if you see an image here on my website that is not in my web shop and you would like a print of it just let me know and I can arrange it.
