New in the shop: Sets of two prints

Jelly fish and fish pond

I’ve been playing around with my prints from the Print Shop and paired them two and two. It’s a lot of fun because it can change the feeling of the photo, it becomes something new. When pairing images you can think in colors, contrasting or in harmony with each other. You can think a theme, or a matching light. There are many ways to do it. I have small prints of all my work so I combine them in real life to see what I like. After that I combine them in photoshop. Here are a few of them all linked to the shop.

Photo Journal no 14: Lo Scoglio in Massa Lubrense, Italy

A few years ago, not that many, in the beginning of the summer I traveled to Napoli in Italy. On my third day in Napoli I and the group I traveled with went on a day trip to the Sorrento Peninsula and the tiny village of Massa Lubrense where we had lunch. The restaurant is Lo Scoglio. The food and the surroundings I will never forget and this is what it looks like.

Photo journal no 11: Crete

Almost exactly a year ago I traveled to the Greek island of Crete with a team of very talented and creative women. During a week we produced a cookbook with food cooked by the loveliest Cretan women. (More about the book in an earlier post, go here.) I shot lots and lots and many of the photos are printed in the book. I’ve looked through all images I shot again. Somehow my mind brings back strong memories of a trip a year later. Usually also only the good parts, making me want to go again. Trips are usually mostly good and so was this one. I’ve chosen some new images and edited them to reflect what my feeling of this trip is now a year later. (Some of the photos from Crete are already in my printshop, see a post about that here.)
