New work in the Swedish food magazine Lantliv mat och vin.

In the latest issue of the Swedish food magazine Lantliv mat och vin I have no more than three stories. All with food stylist Liselotte Forslin, absolutely one of the best food stylists. One story is about new ways of preparing and eating porridge, with lots of different grains and lovely things to go with it. Another story is about making your own pasta and the good sauces to go with it. Continue reading

These are a few images from the Chocolate feature I made with Mia Öhrn for the Swedish food magazine Allt om mat. I also took the photos for her book Franska bakverk ( French pastry). You can se more from Franska bakverk here. And more of Mia Öhrn here. Continue reading

cookbook: Party Party! – Liselotte Forslin

With this cookbook we wanted to get a crazy feeling of party. A party with no responsibilities, no worrying just happiness and good food, good drinks and happy people! I can promise you that this is a book filled with great recipes. The food is good, interesting but still easy to make as always with Liselottes food. Making and eating this food will make you happy! cookbook: Fast Food with Fredrik Paulún

This is the first of three books to be published that I have worked on this last year. The recipes are by Fredrik Paulún but I mostly worked with food stylist Tove Nilsson making the images for the book. I always enjoy working with Tove, she is such a talented food stylist and cook. Se more of her work here. I also enjoyed working with designer Kai Ristilä making this book. Continue reading

Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2014

I entered this image into the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2014, in the category Food off the Press. It made it to be a finalist with six other images in the same category. The image was also included in a exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London in the end of April. Unfortunately I could’t be there for the exhibition. Continue reading

Fest med systrarna von Sydow – new book

This book is the latest to be published of the ones I shot last year. There are still two to come and another one I’m working on right now. On this book I worked with the two sisters Ebba von Sydow and Amy von Sydow Green. On the team was also Katja Palmdahl, Liselotte Forslin, Lisa Kullberg and of course our publisher Ingela Holm of Ica bokförlag. We got to go to many different wonderful locations in Stockholm to shoot this book during a few beautiful days in june last year. We also had a few days in Gothenburg at Stora Holms säteri in august to finish up the book. A good thing with making this book was that we were staying in a hotel during the photoshoot. I wish that happend more often while working on a big project like this it’s so much easier to get lots of work done. Making books is a lot of work, mostly fun, but still lots.

bread-lantliv mat & vin

This was published already in September in the Swedish food magazine Lantliv mat & vin. I worked together with Liselotte Forslin and we were not in our studio instead we worked in a beautiful kitchen in a beautiful home in Uppsala, Sweden. Working in another space than our studio gives us inspiration. Even though you can’t always se the location in the images we believe it makes the photos better (if it’s a good location). It can be a slightly different natural daylight from the studio, a chair, a wall that looks really good in the background, props from the kitchen we are working in. Small things that inspire me and the stylist and make the food look even tastier. Continue reading

two large posters of paris on etsy

I’m happy to let you know I have finally chosen two photographs to make posters from and I have already printed them. These are the first two poster but more will come. These first ones are both from Paris and printed on matte paper (my favorite) in the large size of 70 x 100 cm ( 27 1/2 x 39 1/4 “). The good thing with these posters, apart from the photo and being big, is that they are not very expensive so you can easily just pin or tape them on the wall. Or if you want to frame them there are many ready made frames in this size to frame them with. You can get them in my etsy shop. And I ship world wide. Continue reading
